While not directed specifically at you, it would nice if people actually added a few words about where they are in the game and what they think of it.

Just posting names makes it become a spam thread.

Giving your impressions could also help someone who is on the fence about a purchase.

On that note I think I'm enjoying jeanne d'arc more than Crisis Core. Not sure if it's because it's my "new" game or that I'm slightly lost in Crisis:Core. :)

One thing that really jumps out at me though is the battles. Crisis core is obviously real time, being much more frantic, where even if you know what you want to do, you can still lose if you can't push those L and R buttons quickly enough.

With Jeanne d'arc being turn based I can actually plan a strategy, thinking moves ahead, who attacks when, really more to my tastes and in some ways more stressful, because I can see that even though my position is okay now, it won't be in a few turns.

    MGS 4

At first I was a bit overwhelmed by all the "MGSness". You know, all the talking and cut scenes but as soon as you give it some time it truly is a gem. One gripe I have however is that a couple of the first "stages" are very action orientated but the controls are way to slow and more adapted to stealth so it can get a bit hairy at times. The only positive thing about this is that it really adds a lot of tension in the game. The controls are very smooth however and by far still one of the best control schemes IMO. The bosses are way too easy, no really, you get them the very first time on normal. The game itself I find is **** tough however, enemies are smart and hear, smell and see you. The inventory is pretty rad, lots of gadgets and an absolute ton of weapons. The octocamo is just one of the coolest kits I've ever seen. Sound and visuals are of course top notch.

But the thing that has me glued to my PS3 controller is the story, I really think it's good. If you played the rest of the series you'll like it because it ties a lot of loose ends together. While I didn't like the way in which they told it at first, with all the cut scenes and talking and such, once the story unfolds you then start to appreciate it and I sometimes don't feel like playing again because I just want to watch, like a really good movie. The story, like others in the series is very deep and complex IMO so it needs your full attention at all times or else you'll lose the plot.

One piece of advice that I can give to those that want to play this is that you need to invest time into this game, the gameplay for obvious reasons is very slow and the cut scenes can be pretty long (some I'm sure have been together with the codec conversations 50 min long) but if and when you do invest time into it, trust me, it will reward you for it.

So while I still think that MGS2 is the best in the series I'll highly recommend it to anyone who's either a fan of the series, wants some stealth action or wants a truly amazing all round cinematic experience.

Warhammer Online. Obviously, where I am in the game is VERY relative in an MMO. But I'm running around on beaches and forests filled with annoying high-elves.

Just bought Crysis Warhead (put S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky on the backburner for a while because of the bugs) so I'm pretty ampt for this one, although reviews said it clocks in at about 5 hours, so I'll most probably clock it in a day or two.

Warhammer Online - Running around in scenarios killing as many Dark Elfs as I can with my Shadow Warrior, this game is really awesome and if the Fun keeps coming then i might have to scrap Age of Conan and just play this.

Age Of Conan - Yhep still playing this but game time has taken a knock since i started playing WAR.

Is it just me or is kuf circle of fire a little aimless? I played for almost 2 hours and then forgot to go save as I was bored, even though the visuals are brilliant, i feel its lacking a little. At the start combat is a fairly mundane and daunting task as you had such low SP but slowly but surely it gets more fluid/continuing as you level up.

Ultimate Quest 2 has me stumped, I read the tips but I still cannot proceed west after talking to everybody over and over again, all I have is my pillow and some wax to keep me comfort. The dialogue never fails produce decent humour and its quite enjoyable.

Spacehack is nice to sit back when you dont feel like stressing and button mashing, and therefore has taken up a huge chunk of my playing time as Im still feeling the effects of Tuesday's Castle Crashers party. Kudos to dis and aeq for the awesome game.

So having Too Human's arrival Ive given it a quick look at and I have yet to find the point. Great game though.

Shadowrun is... Its... Interesting. I dont know how to describe it, but personally theres a bit much that overcomplicates it. Im undecided whether I like it or not yet, but time will tell.

Being an avid fan of Final Fantasy I can assure you Im enjoying Blue Dragon thoroughly. At the start it seems childish at best, but it has various interesting parts to the whole that make it worth the time and just as fun. Im still on the first disc.

Sorry if it seems like I live in this thread, its holidays and I have time to spare. :)

They should have stuck with what the previous Kingdom under fire games were about, I saw a playtest of the game on OnTheSpot once and I got bored just watching them play.

Playing through FFX on emulation at the moment, the save anywhere you want feature is a big help that's for sure, especially in some of the boss fights.

I'm clocking about 10hours of gameplay per day, I'm already at the calmlands, pretty soon I shall start playing blitzball and trying to get the ultimate weapons, then I'll really be screwed on time.

Great. So it only gets better. *insert creative smiley face*

I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time with the game and coincidently I have the whole weekend to myself. Just have to get through tomorrow and Friday.

Now, to boldly go where no other man has gone before: my bed.

The thing about Shadowrun is that it's the thinking mans FPS, I have yet to see another FPS with so much depth and tactic. The current trend in the market really showed it's true colors when the game didn't sell at all, a huge chunk of the market don't want to think too hard when they play.

I really like the game and think that if most gamers maybe had a different view on games then it could have been a huge it. I mean, the controls are sweet, so are the visuals and sound, levels are pretty well designed, large and diverse and there's enough diversity in the character classes and power-ups to keep everyone happy. Not only that, this was supposed to be so huge with the cross platforming, PC vs Xbox.

However I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, no one's playing it online anymore and there really isn't much of a single player campaign. So unless you love fighting bots all the time, don't buy this sweet game.
