A friend of mine gave me a brief demo of his Star Wars demo the other night, he didn't like it but it looked pretty rad to me.

Dead Rising is the most theraputic game I've ever played. Whenever I was frustrated I'd head over to my friend's place, fire up a new game, and smash zombies with cash registers, mallets, and run them over with the lawnmower until I felt better.

I'm busy updating my CoD4, so I'll be playing that for a while till I get tired of playing it online again.

Arx Fatalis is about as far away from Dark Messiah as I can imagine. They're both 1st person but that's where the similarities end, if you ask me.

Mostly the combat, I did add the -ish though, I don't know what it is about the game but I can't stop playing it, must be the ocd part of me, it's good but I don't know about great, still fun though.

I think it's probably more adventure-ish than DM.

I just bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky, and I'm hoping that the patch they recently released will sort out a lot of the bugs that most reviewers say plague the game. I thoroughly enjoyed Shadow of Chernobyl, so I'm hoping this will live up, and even surpass SoC, putting aside the bugs of course.

Anyway, I bought the game to see me through until Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, and Red Alert 3!

Yeah it is pretty pricey for a budget game, don't you get Sowf Effrican discount or something? It does have 40 playable characters though IIRC? And it's supposed to be good for co op I hope it's local?

If you liked Double Dragon Advance, Streets of Rage 2 etc you should probably get it, if you want more of those type of games, word on the street it's pretty good, like an 8/10 type game maybe, depends on your prefrence really I guess.

Never heard of a discount at all

just over 20 unlockable characters.
Game is best with 3 or 4 players, the competitive nature of it (especially when fighting for the princess) is great.

I recently lobbed my 360 to a lan, where three friends and I clocked the thing from start to finish with fresh characters. It was pure fun. Don't get much of that anymore. Oh, and I got every princess \o/

The patch for the game STILL hasn't come out, so if you do get the game, stay away from the offline modes until the patch comes and you should be fine. It seems players only loose data if they attempt to create/join an online game and are dropped.
