For the PS3 owners, here is Little Big Planet for under R400 (R384 at time of linking), from Take 2.co.za's More UK section:

Just go take a look at Incredible Connection. They've got that weird sale where they're selling a lot of their games for R29. They don't all suck, I picked up Supreme Commander and Condemned there today. Was loads more, but I didn't want to spend all my money :\

Hehehe the coolest thing happened... this morning my mom gave me the LSL & KQ Collections as a gift. She got it at Game (Alberton) for R49.99 ea. She didn't see PQ and SQ collections though. But it's still a cool surprise and coincodence. :D

I saw those at GAME Northgate yesterday as well - definitely worthwhile for anyone looking to catch up. I already have them, however, but managed to snag Tropico Gold (which includes the expansion) also for R49.

Jammer meneer, dit is nog nie beskikbaar nie. Guitar Hero Metallica word die 29ste Mei 2009 eers vrygestel. Daar is ander games nou beskikbaar in die reeks (soos World Tour).

    Slight necro...

If you are looking to buy a Xbox 360 Elite, head over to Incredible Connection. They have the red Resident Evil bundle (which apparently has Street Fighter II HD Remix on the hard drive), plus an extra wireless controller (black), all for R4999.95.

Just popped into Incredible Corruption yesterday and saw that they're getting rid of their older PC games by selling them in big bundles. Both bundles are R399 but one has 5 games and one has 10. The one with 10 titles has (from what I remember) Age of Empires II (collectors edition), Beyond Good and Evil, CSI (can't remember which), as well as Prince of Persia (if I'm not mistaken).

The other bundle has older, but still awesome, titles.

I don't know if this will be available everywhere though. I saw this at their gateway branch.

The 10-game budle is on special from 7-10 May, thereafter it will be R499.95. They have a few more specials on, think the Resident Evil Elite 360 is selling for R4600 (excluding the extra controller as listed a few posts up) for these few days.

So a few specials that I saw:

    Xbox360 Elite Resident Evil 5 Edition - R4600
    Xbox360 Elite Resident Evil 5 Edition + Extra black controller - R5000
    PS3 + MK VC DC Universe + Another game (can't remember!) - R5200

I know this isn't gaming but I felt this didn't need a new thread:

For all you trekkies on the forum, take2.co.za is selling various seasons of Star Trek for under R200 (RRP over R600): Link
There is limited stock so get them while you can (I think Kalahari.net is also selling seasons of Star Trek cheap at the moment)

Ya, they are getting ridiculous. I bought my Arcade for R1700 and now they are R2500. Granted my Xbox is almost 2 years old.

Incredible Connection is having a similar special for Xbox to the PS3 one I mentioned on earlier page.

A 60GB Pro Bundle with Trivial Pursuit (yay :/) and Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box, plus 1 extra Wireless Controller (2 in total then) for R3799.95

Im getting a new pc this week (finally) so ill be able to play high end games. I haven't played a game on my PC in months for the fact that nothing runs on it...

So i need some recommendations for cheapish games to get my collections up...
To help you out if already got:
    COD
    Orange Box
    Dawn of War 2
And others not really worth mentioning.

Ill have an internet connection as well.
They don't have to be brand new AAA games. I have very few games, and im just looking to have fun. Like in the good 'ol days!

OMG: I just found Mech Warrior 2... and its beautiful.
    Wonders if it will work...
