It was the marked price. I didn't even hesitate not to mention it to them. :)

Does anyone else check kalahari.net's "Deal of the Day"? Sometimes they are really good. Today's is the Special Edition of Halo Wars for R250. Keep an eye on it. You can find some total steals.

No problem. Checking it has become habit for me: I turn on PC, check forums, check deal of the day, consume butt loads of coffee, start work.

I'll be adding it to my morning "to-do" list, after looking at forums, specials on Take2, and preplayed games on BT :)

@Riezo: Thanks! Odd special, but good price

Its amazing how quickly some of thes games have gone onto the Classics range.

Great for new buyers, but for some (such as you), its sucky to see these at a much lower price so soon after buying it at the older price.

It's days like these when I get down on my knees and thank the gaming gods of Endor for Cheap PC gaming! Thanks Brunch23! I'm adding Crysis Warhead and Mass Effect to my collection for little more than R200 thanks to you! Have a cookie! :)

Edit: Also adding Odin Sphere for the PS2. It's one of the games I lost a while back and now it's available for R84! Sweet!

    A not-so-high-profile sale on Take2, see here

Highlight would be the Guitar Hero 3 controllers for R270, bought one immediately as a birthday gift for my wife so we can jam together instead of taking turns

Glad to hear someone's waited before buying Crysis Warhead at the release price of R350. I've written a whole article in NAG about +R300 games that can be completed in +/- 3hours. It just doesn't seem right. Anyways it's more of Crysis, so I suppose we'll let it slip. Did you pay 200 bucks for both Mass Effect and Crysis Warhead? Great deal if it's so. I was looking for Unreal Tournament III (PC version) lately, but saw it was sold out on Take2 and Kalahari.net. Bid or buy also had nothing at the time so I Googled it and only found the PS3 version. I eventually found a copy on Ebay. Cost me R130 including delivery from the UK - not too bad...

Oh really? When was it published? Are you sure it wasn't an Inbox letter? There's a difference, just in case you didn't know...
