Oh look, Mass Effect 3 is delayed! Are you surprised? You really shouldn’t be; all the cool games get delayed these days. It’s like this developer thing: you’re game is only awesome if it gives the finger to schedules and deadlines.
Anyway! The game’s Executive Producer, Casey Hudson, has reported that we’ll see the final chapter in Shepard’s trilogy landing sometime during the first three months of 2012. Of course the delay is to make sure that “Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations”. Oh Casey, we all already know it’s going to be those things.
Sticking with slightly disappointing Mass Effect news, speaking at a Q&A session EA boss man John Riccitiello has told investors that Mass Effect 3’s gameplay is being adjusted so as to appeal to a wider audience.
