According to SEGA, the Xbox 360 mech combat sim Chromehounds will have it’s online component taken offline on Janary 6, 2010. So if you still want to get some of the Xbox Live Achievements tied to the game’s online campaign, better get them now or before January.

Chromehounds, while a flawed first-generation title from From Software for the 360, had a lot of charm and detail put into it’s three-way persistent online campaign.  Not to mention, until the new Mechwarrior comes out, it was the only mech-based game to play. We salute you, Chromehounds. You were a totally fun slow-paced mech game, if you’re into that kind of thing.
