We could watch him hang on like that all day. Woo, it gets us feeling a little hot, with him hanging perilously over a precipice of ice. You can tell from the box-art that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a game for men, because it doesn’t have a single boob on the cover.

Nathan Drake’s next adventure will be released in the United States on October 13th, along with some pretty sweet (or totally lame, depending on how you look at it) pre-order deals. Depending on who you pre-order Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from, either Amazon.com, GameStop, Game Grazy or BestBuy, you get something different.

If you’re into bling for your bang, the BestBuy exclusive DLC pre-order bonus grants you access to a pair of golden Barettas and a golden AK-47 for use online.

The Amazon pre-order bonus is a treasure map so you can find the hidden treasures in the game, Game Crazy gets a Currency Multiplier for multiplayer online use (so people who get this, will gain in-game currency and unlock bonuses faster than anyone else, which sounds like cheating to us). GameStop gets the most bizarre bonus of all – the Revenge Attribute. The Revenge Attribute is the last booster you unlock in multiplayer, but if you pre-order from GameStop, you get it right off the bat. So while everyone else will have to grind their way towards it, there will already be people running around with a serious advantage over you right from launch. Personally, we think this is kind of lame.

What pre-order bonuses will be available in South Africa? You tell us! We don’t have a clue. When will Uncharted 2 be released in South Africa? We’re not sure either. We’re useless, aren’t we?

To make us feel better, here are some comparison shots between Uncharted and it’s sequel, showing just how much Naughty Dog has improved the visuals. Drake is now even more manly with some better-defined manly stubble. Mmm, manly stubble.

Looking good, Mr. Drake! Love the 5 o'clock shadow.
