If you’re a gearhead enough to want to know the specifics of how the Xbox 360’s upcoming motion-sensing technology, Project Natal, works, then you’ll want to head over and check out the explanatory article of it over at New Scientist. I did find it amusing, however, that in their opinion it might make traditional controllers obsolete. It might make new kinds of games possible, sure – but there’s a lot that it won’t be able to do too, and I don’t think we’ll be chucking our old controllers away as soon as we buy this new-fangled doo-hickey.
