Writer Josh Michaelson over at DAMNLAG recently put up a very compelling article full of reasons why he thinks SEGA should just give it up and hand Sonic over to Nintendo. The general gist of it is that SEGA keeps on reiterating the same old trash with slightly new ideas – usually copied from someone else – in an attempt to breathe new life in the once beloved Sonic franchise, whereas Nintendo has managed to do radically different things with their portly plumber, Mario, over the course of 30-odd years. When you think about it,  it’s hard to argue. A part of me felt the old Sonic fanboy rising to shout out baseless defence against these accusations, but the more mature part of me with sense dipped his head back down into the pool of bile from whence he rose. Anyway, it’s an interesting read, so if you are, or ever have been a Sonic fan, check it out here.
