Alan Wake

Helloooo? Any coders out there? My Kinect broke down just up the road...

A recent job listing suggests that they are. The creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake have dispatched probes to find the galaxy’s finest new talent to join their ranks. If you’re a programmer with “experience on motion-control technology (e.g. Kinect)” and would like to work on an upcoming “AAA console project,” then feel free to apply for fortune and glory. Only if you’re serious about it, of course.

For the rest of us though, this might mean that Remedy’s next title could be infused with a bunch of fancy Kinect-enabled stuff. Whatever this new game is (a sequel to Alan Wake, maybe?), it’s being built on the same engine that powered Alan Wake and there might be arm flapping. Lots of it. Either that, or it’s  obviously a Kinectimals clone in which Remedy replaces that cute ‘n fluffy tiger with Alan Wake and Max Payne. Creepy…
