Ubisoft (finally) reveals Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

The subtitle is also apt! You know, because Ubi has just revealed it. Get it? Never mind.

After a week or so of frantic teasing via Facebook pages and videos that look as if they’ve been ripped straight out of the Animus, Ubisoft has revealed that this November we’ll be taking the role of Ezio one last time in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

In the final chapter of Ezio’s trilogy, we’ll be journeying to Constantinople back when it was part of the Ottoman Empire. Ooh! Exotic! Ezio will be tracing the steps of Altair, which means that at times we’ll be playing as Ezio, Desmond and Altair; not all at once though, because that would be a total logistical nightmare. Here’s hoping Altair won’t have an American accent this time around.

Multiplayer will make a return and Ubisoft has announced a “newly customizable multiplayer game” mode as well as new maps and new characters. Naturally, Ubisoft has confirmed that more will be shown at E3 in June.
