PR release: AOC Monitor Shows the Future of Display Technology

Every now and then we’ll post a press release detailing a new product launch or something similar. The following is such a case.

Beijing, 20 May 2011

The latest ultra-slim LED monitor from AOC has a unique smart base containing all the input connectors and control electronics, allowing the entire display panel to measure just 9.6mm thin!

The revolutionary 53-X monitor has a brushed-metallic surface texture and a slim, transparent crystal stand to further enhance its futuristic styling. The base has illuminated soft-touch controls, and can tilt to transform into a sleek wall mount (VESA standard), allowing the panel to seemingly float in space.

Futuristic technology is more than just an impression, 53-X has a cutting-edge IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel, a superior type of screen that offers consistent image appearance and colours across the entire display, even from extreme viewing angles. Contrast ratio is ultra high at 50,000,000:1 (DCR).

53-X is equipped with multiple power saving features for reduced environmental impact, whilst the LED backlight contains no toxic mercury, ensuring safer disposal when it is eventually retired – although its pleasing design and excellent image quality should ensure a long period of rewarding service.

Twin HDMI ports and a traditional analog (VGA) input allow flexible connection to multiple computers and other multimedia devices, allowing 53-X to be a versatile display in every home and work setting.

53-X is outstandingly capable and impressively adaptable, similar to the X gene found in the mutants in X-Men First Class. Without this X gene the mutants would not have their superpowers.

AOC and leading global film distributor Twentieth Century Fox International have banded together to promote the highly-anticipated release of the movie X-Men: First Class due out in June, 2011.

X-MEN FIRST CLASS unveils the epic beginning of the X-MEN saga. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, they were discovering their powers for the first time, and worked together to prevent nuclear war. In the process, a serious rift opened between them, beginning the conflict between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
