You see, fellow PC gamers? Rockstar does still love us, although I’ll admit that I’d far rather have a PC version of Red Dead Redemption. Still, the glorious PC master race is now pretty much the beggar of the gaming industry so we’ll just have to be happy with what we get – can’t be choosers and all. And by my liberal use of the first-person singular and plural pronouns, I’m not implying that I’m exclusively a PC gamer, but rather I’m aligning myself with you lot so that I don’t get flamed for being so disparaging. Even though I’m totally not being disparaging, it’s just that the truth often sounds that way – just saying.
Anyway, the news came via Rockstar’s official website saying that they were “very happy to announce that L.A. Noire will be arriving on the PC platform this fall”. And “fall” means spring for us in the southern hemisphere so expect this cropping up sometime between September and November.
The game will be streamlined for the PC and support the use of gamepads. Additionally, Rockstar has promised “increased fidelity and improved graphical enhancements”. The PC version will also support 3D if you’re into splitting headaches while you solve crimes set in 1940s Los Angeles.
