Somebody get Calendar Man in here so we can kick repeatedly in the junk. Those of you (me included) frothing at the mouth to don the black cowl and dish out some Bats justice on their PCs, are going to be waiting longer. PC gamers have already had to wait another month, but it’s been confirmed that we’ll wait a little longer.
Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment has said that the PC edition of Arkham City has been pushed back a further week. This means that the US will be getting it on 22 November and European territories on 25 November. Our wait just got a week longer, which probably isn’t the end of the world.
Interestingly, I received an SMS from BT Games just this morning saying “PC Batman: Arkham City has been delayed until December 2011 by the suppliers. Apologies for the inconvenience.” I shrugged it off as them hedging their bets, but then noticed Joystiq pointing out a “major South African retailer” reporting a December delay. They questioned Warner Brothers about it, but the publisher refused to comment. Time to start investigating! In the meantime, hit the jump for a glorious PC Arkham City tech trailer put together to show PC gamers that the wait will be worth it.
