And that should totally matter to you because they’re the branch of Rockstar Games that made Red Dead Redemption. They also made Table Tennis but let’s focus on Red Dead Redemption instead because cowboys.

The development studio has posted six new positions over the course of two-and-a-half weeks. Those positions are for things like an AI Programmer, Gameplay Programmer, Network Programmer and Snr. Prop Artist amongst others. While no mention is made of the actual title being developed, one particular description in the Gameplay Programmer listing states the following: “Prospective candidates need to the ready for the challenges posed by large scale open worlds with complex AI and physics.”

Last time we checked, Table Tennis wasn’t an open world title. Red Dead Redemption totally was though so here’s hoping they’re developing a sequel, because cowboys. Let’s start taking bets on a title; Red Dead Renegade? Red Dead Ramifications? Ooh! Red Dead Rejection – it’ll blend open-world cowboy action with a complex dating simulator. Japan’s going to LOVE this.
