UPDATE: didn’t take long to confirm this! Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP will be hitting Steam on 16 April. Hit the jump for an announcement video.

Original: According to The Indie Game Magazine (IGM) website, a listing for Capybara Game’s iOS hit Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP has appeared on the Steam register. A few weeks ago, Alan Wake for PC was revealed in this same way. With that in mind, it’s likely that PC gamers will get a taste of this quirky adventure game in the coming weeks.

Originally bound to iOS devices, Sword & Sworcery is undeniably gorgeous with its pixelated art style and rather intricate scene creation. Topping it all off was some really good music and an altogether intriguing atmosphere from start to finish. The game also made clever use of the screen auto-orientation featured on iPads, iPods and iPhones – we’re guessing similar features won’t make the jump PC.

If you’re into your old school adventure games, or if you’re just a fan of artsy takes on video games, then you should definitely consider picking this up when it hits Steam. That’s IF it hits Steam, but as IGM points out: Steam register listing have never been wrong in the past.
