The same guy who spilled the beans on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Paul Gale, has also now revealed more information on Castlevania: Mirror of Fate for 3DS.
Gale is a “28 year old, martial artist, video gamer, personal trainer, artist, actor, and voice actor,” so obviously he has critical inside industry knowledge, right? Well he’s got it right before, so everyone is listening to him now.
Castlevania: Mirror of Fate is a 2D Castlevania game that Konami has been working on for over a year, and features two playable characters as well as co-op play. It will use the 3DS’ forward-facing camera as a mirror and the outward facing camera for puzzle solving.
There was also to be a Wii U version, which supposedly was going to interface with the 3DS version. This has apparently been ditched for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
Whereas Mirror of Fate for Wii U would have been the same game as the 3DS version, Lords of Shadow 2 will be totally unique. Both games are being made by Spanish developer MercurySteam and are expected to be revealed at E3 in just a few weeks.
