Ubisoft has announced that a new co-operative multiplayer mode will be making an appearance in Assassin’s Creed III. Dubbed “Wolf Pack”, the mode sees you trying to locate a missing co-op partner after a night of drunken debauchery and three friends trying to hunt down targets together.
In total, you’ll have to take on 25 waves of increasingly trickier assassinations. It won’t be as simple as finding the right target and sticking him or her with the pointy end though; targets will have lookouts and bodyguards that you’ll need to deal with.
Performing extra flamboyant or super sneaky assassinations will get you more points, which can then be spent on unlocking new characters. You’ll also get bonus points for performing synchronised takedowns on four separate targets at once. Planning and communication between players will be key.
