A new Deadpool game has been unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con during a panel held by Marvel. The game is being developed by High Moon Studios (which did the recent Transformers games) and will be published by Activision.

Deadpool is being voiced by Nolan North, which makes sense seeing as he’s voiced the character in previous games like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Marvel vs. Capcom 3. If the trailer (after the jump) is anything to go by, the game will be an action brawler/shooter played in third-person. No platforms have been announced, but the target date is 2013.

Judging by the ton of one-liners in the trailer, the game sounds as if it’s going to be pretty hilarious. Being kind of new to a lot of comic books, I knew of Deadpool’s existence but had no idea that humour was such a big part of the series. Looks like I’m going to have to add this to my reading list as well then.
