The thing with gaming expos and press reveal events, is that a lot of the time the footage that’s shown off remains hidden from public view for quite some time. Take for instance Metro: Last Light, which had some gameplay footage shown to press during this year’s E3. That footage has now been made available for general consumption, and it’s delectable.
The original Metro 2033 came out just over two years ago and was one of those titles that deserved more attention than it got. The game was a solid FPS experience. It was also creepy as hell and slathered in those wonderfully atmospheric moments that appear all too seldom in contemporary FPS games.
Metro: Last Light is the cover feature for the July issue of NAG magazine. There’s a ton of info on the game nestled inside those pages. Hit the jump to watch what the NAG E3 team saw live in LA.
