Ubisoft has announced a second DLC offering for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Dubbed Raven Strike, the add-on content will give oldschool Ghost Recon fans something to smile about, as the campaign missions have been designed to “be a throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay”. Think much bigger maps, a higher level of difficulty and more complex missions.
Raven Strike will feature three new campaign missions set in varying locales. The first, Secure Dawn, is set in Kazakhstan where the team of Ghosts won’t have access to their future tech like drones, optical camouflage or sensor grenades. Cold Walker is set in the Russian countryside around a train depot, and the last mission, Argent Thunder, will be set at night in the streets of Moscow. The DLC pack will also include a new Guerrilla Mode map set around a sawmill in Russia; as usual, you’ll need to fend off 50 waves of enemies.
The Raven Strike DLC will be available on 11 September 2012 for 1200 MS Points on Xbox 360. It will hit the PlayStation 3 the following day for €14.99 or about R160. The bad news is that there’s no mention of a PC version. Hell, there’s still no PC version of the first batch of DLC, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
