Fun fact: you could know absolutely NOTHING about this game, but with a title like that you already know you’re going to play it. Fun fact 2: it’s a free-to-play game. WAIT! Come back. It’s a free-to-play game that looks like a mash-up between Dungeon Keeper and Diablo. It’s also got a sense of humour and the most glorious debut trailer (after the jump).
The game is set in the kingdom of Opulencia, where castles float in the sky like clouds. According to the game’s official website, the people of Opulencia are “famous for their love of jewels, precious metals, enchanted furniture, priceless pet clothing and every other sort of treasure imaginable.”
You’ll need to oversee your own castle, fill it with traps and other spiky implements of death, and then place a mountain of loot at the end of your home-made gauntlet. It’ll be up to other players to invade your castle and attempt to survive your labyrinthine death-trap in order to claim your loot. Obviously you’ll need to do the same to add to your own pile of loot. No release date as yet, but you can sign up for a beta on the game’s webpage.
