Capcom and French developer Dontnod have released the gameplay footage that accompanied Remember Me’s debut at this year’s Gamescom. It’s just over nine minutes long and gives you a good over-view of the title’s three main mechanics: memory remixing, acrobatic level exploration and combat.
The game stars Nilin, an elite Memory Hunter who is on the run from the government and her previous employers. The game is a cyberpunk infused action adventure set in “Neo-Paris” during the year 2084. Basically, if you were a fan of the atmosphere and aesthetics of the more recent Deus Ex, and you’ve got a soft-spot for games like Tomb Raider and Uncharted, then Remember Me will likely be right up your alley.
The game’s reveal was a bit of a surprise during Capcom’s press meeting. There’s a heap of potential here even if the voice acting is a little hit or miss.
