Yep, you read that right. The Humble Bundle, known for usually promoting indie games, music and books, have now turned their attention to selling titles backed by publishers. In this case, games from THQ are up for grabs, and they’ve really included some classics: Company Of Heroes (plus two expansions), Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon and, for those who pay more than the average, the ridiculously fun Saints Row: The Third.

Like with previous bundles, players may name their price, but this time the minimum requirement is $1.00 rather than one cent. Also like with previous, buyers may decide how they want to split their money between the developers, the organizers and charity. The soundtracks for the games will once again be available, but unlike with the previous promotions, the games are strictly Windows-only.

Some folks may see it as a betrayal of the principles that the Humble Bundle was founded upon, such as the promotion of DRM-free software. However, this THQ bundle has been wildly successful, reaching the $1,000,000 mark in less than five hours. [It’s now currently well beyond the $2 million mark – Ed.] It’s also worth keeping an eye out on this one, as the bundles tend to add other goodies and bonuses as the promotion wears on.

Check it out here. [I’ve also embedded the Humble THQ Bundle’s trailer thingy below the break – Ed.]
