The latest DLC offerings for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim hits the Xbox 360 today. If you’re not completely out-Skyrimmed you can pick up “Dragonborn” for 1600 MS Points. But that’s not really why we’re here; we’re here because Bethesda has confirmed that this piece of DLC will be coming to the PlayStation 3 (and PC, but again that was pretty obvious).
“Dragonborn” will be the first piece of Skyrim DLC that will be available on Sony’s console. To date, Skyrim on PlayStation 3 has been a sore point for many gamers as it was prone to game destroying bugs. This resulted in the platform missing the “Dawnguard” expansion as well as the smaller “Hearthfire” add-on.
According to Bethesda’s blog, this new piece of DLC “will be available on PS3 and PC early next year.” Speaking to Eurogamer shortly after this news surfaced, a Bethesda representative said that the developer considers “Dragonborn” to be the best piece of DLC so far, and that is why it’s arriving on PlayStation 3 ahead of “Dawnguard” and “Hearthfire”.
