It’s that time of the year when publishers conduct shareholder meetings and quarterly sales reviews. Time Warner has recently held their own, during which it was casually revealed that a third game in the excellent Batman Arkham series would be getting released this year.

“And we also have a strong games release this year,” said Time Warner’s chief financial officer John Martin, “which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013.”

Developer Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have yet to even tease the next game in the series, but earlier in the year a whole lot of Arkham domain names were registered by Warner Bros. Our guess is an E3 reveal in time for an eventual release just before the festive season. Because obviously.
