Know A Thing is here to keep you informed about very important things found in games. You never know when it might save your life. ]

Actually the fifth game in the main series, Assassin’s Creed III follows an alternate history in which some guy with a memory machine has some past-life regression and discovers he’s like, the most important person ever, in the history of history. Sounds like most past-life stories.

Somewhere along the way, Desmond Miles, the guy who’s all these other guys in the past, forgot how to hit people with brooms. He could do it during the Renaissance, but not during the American Revolution. Pity, since there’s an infinite supply of brooms in the New World.

Phantom Pistol

One of the fancy new features in AssCreed III is the ability to dual-wield weapons. Except when you fast-travel with dual pistols, you’ll sometimes lose one along the way (whatever is in the right holster). Sometimes, it may even change your second pistol to an entirely different gun.

Founding Führer

This is the only significant game in the history of gaming, to receive an expansion in which George Washington, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, is essentially Hitler. A close second may be Civilization V, which also somehow turns Ghandi into a giant warmongering maniac.
