For those of you still holding off on buying a new graphics card, AMD has updated its Never Settle bundle, which now includes Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, a massive disco-themed, acid-laden trip back in time to ’80s games where there were lots of guns, nothing made sense, bad guys were everywhere and everything was decked out in psychedelic colours.
No matter which card you buy now, you’ll get at least two free games. The Blood Dragon offer also extends to those of you who have previously redeemed a Never Settle Reloaded code, which means even those of you who bought into the bundle back when Far Cry 3, Hitman: Absolution and Sleeping Dogs was chucked in. This now makes Nvidia’s Free-to-Play bundle even more of a moot point because the game that everyone’s talking about is free with a Radeon HD7000-series card.
For those of you who don’t know, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was initially introduced on the 1st of April and hearts were broken when people looked at their calendars and realised what day it was – never, ever, trust anything anyone says on April Fool’s, except for NAG of course. So when the Blood Dragon rumour was still floating about the day after, people started to pick up on it. There’s now a trailer out for it and it looks amazing. Its the year 2007 and the apocalypse has had an apocalypse. Things get hairy, everything looks slightly pink and its like Duke Nukem fused with Action Man inside a ’80s disco on the set of Tron while drinking too much Absinthe.
Blood Dragon releases on the 1st of May and those of you who receive Never Settle codes for it should be able to get your copy of the game on the same day.
