Maxis working on new SimCity fix to fix previous fix

simcity disaster

After last week’s SimCity 2.0 update broke pretty much everything, Maxis has promised gamers that they’re working hard on another update to fix all of that, while also presumably not breaking everything over again. According to a new update about the old update over on the official website, some of the problems already identified include:

Issue: Some players experiencing higher than expected regional air pollution.

Status: Working on a fix.

Issue: Demolish issue that occurred when players demolished buildings that had service vehicles, delivery vehicles, or agents out in the city or region. Previously, the agents would be in a state of limbo and would not recover when new buildings of that type were placed.

Status: Fix works in newly created cities. Working on a fix for pre-existing cities.

Issue: High School buses stuck in neighboring cities.

Status: Working on a fix.

Issue: Reports of Game Crashes.

Status: Working on fixes.

There’s no confirmed launch date for the next fix, so in the meantime Miklós’s Sims will just have to keep their heads above the torrents of poop gushing out of every manhole and flooding his cities. Hey, at least it’s keeping property prices down.
