LucasArts is gone and dead and buried, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop playing the games they made throughout their existence. It also doesn’t mean that the plethora of wonderful point-and-click adventure game characters are going to lie down and die quietly, which is what this video is all about.

At first I thought this video was going to be a clever little mash-up of various scenes from LucasArts games only with some new dialogue pasted over it. Then Indiana Jones busted Guybrush Threepwood out of the prison on Phatt Island and I was pretty much hooked for the clip’s six minute duration.

Granted, the voice-over work isn’t ideal with some of the characters, but it’s easily overlooked considering what a neat idea the whole thing is. It was put together by YouTuber Felipe Machado, who clearly had the same upbringing as many of us had with a strict diet of LucasArts adventure games. Grab some coffee, hit the jump and watch your childhood get its own back.
