You thought it Borderlands 2 was over when the Season Pass content was done? YOU THOUGHT WRONG, and not just because Ellie’s not sung a thing yet. I bet she does a Total Eclipse of the Heart that would make a midget cry, though.
In the meantime, with the dust and skellies and guns that shoot swords barely settled around Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, Gearbox’s developers are apparently already hard at work on additional DLC for the game.
“Everyone was under the expectations that those would be the four DLCs and that’s it,” says Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford. “We are going to do more, we are going to do some other things. I don’t have details exactly of it yet cause we’re not ready to announce what the other things are.
“We got more stuff in the hopper that we’re planning and getting pretty excited about. So if you’re a Borderlands 2 fan you don’t have to be afraid that that’s the end of it.”
While I’m usually inclined to be cynical about this sort of thing, the DLC for Borderlands 2 has been brilliant so far, with each one better than the last. If they can top Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, I want to play whatever it is. Especially if it features Butt Stallion as a love interest. Hey, don’t judge, it gets lonely at night out in the wastelands.
