Made in 10 days by developer RuneStorm [who, incidentally, happen to be based right here in South Africa. Yay locals! – Ed.] as part of an internal game jam, first-person sandbox janitorial simulator Viscera is all about realism. Your job: mop up after a space marine has gone through an alien invasion, which has left the facility totally wrecked. Your mop will get bloody and need to be cleaned, every bullet casing has to be picked up, and internal organs require proper hazmat disposal. It’s hilarious, and a bit depressing, since this is as close to a Space Quest sequel we’re ever gonna get.

You can download the alpha from the website, or wait for it on the September NAG DVD.
