Giblets: Rockstar to pay off unhappy GTA V customers

With in-game cash, obviously, but a whole lot of in-game cash – 500,000 of we’re-sorry-munnies for those people (i.e. pretty much everybody) who have been affected by the somewhat disastrous launch of the multiplayer component of GTA V, GTA Online.

Some rules apply (stick hit up the link below for more info), and in order to not completely unbalance the game’s economy, the cash will be divvied out in two payments of 250,000 GTA$ each starting next week.

“For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet,” says the press stuff.

Does this make up for a server glitch wiping my online character progress over the weekend? Yes. Does that make me a person with no integrity whatsoever? It doesn’t even matter because I’ll be able to buy so much stuff.
