It’s called the “Dracula’s Tomb Premium Edition” and it comes in sarcophagus. Not a full-sized sarcophagus mind you; this isn’t some Saints Row kind of special edition. The “Tomb Box” comes with an A4 hardcover art book, which for this series will be something rather spectacular considering how incredible the art direction was on the previous game. There’s also the obligatory Steelbook case as well as four figurines designed by British comic book artist Neil Googe. The collector’s edition has so far only been confirmed for Europe, but that means it’s very likely that we’ll get it here in South Africa.

2010’s Lords of Shadow ended with a massive plot twist, so fans of the game are likely pretty excited to wrap up the story. I know I am; the original Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was probably one of my most favourite games of this generation.

There’s a new trailer for the game that provides a glimpse at what Satan has in store for Gabriel. Looks like there’s going to be a considerable amount of family tension in this one (oh ho, Alucard!). Heading to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 27 February 2014, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will complete Gabriel Belmont’s story arc. Trailer after the jump.
