After finally ironing out most of the issues with GTA V Online, Rockstar will be releasing the first DLC for the game this Tuesday, November 19th. The biggest thing to know about the Beach Bum DLC? It’s free. Full details after the jump.

First up, there are four new vehicles: the BF Bifta dune buggy, Canis Kalahari off-road truck, Bravo Paradise beach camper van, and the Speeder speedboat (an old classic). These are basically sand-and-surf-ready vehicles specifically designed for new Beach Bum races and vehicle deathmatches and they will also be available in story mode.

Next, we have two new weapons: the compact SNS pistol and, for fans of melee slicing, the broken bottle (how has this not been a weapon in a prior GTA game?). Both weapons will be available for free at any Ammu-Nation location in GTA V Online and they will automatically be added to each character’s inventory in story mode.

New customisation options are also available, so expect a wave of board shorts, surfer attire, and assorted beach-related hairstyles and tattoos to be included.

Finally, there are a massive amount of new jobs on offer for GTA V Online. These include new beach-themed Races, Deathmatches, Parachutes, Last Team Standings, Survivals as well as Gang Attacks for those who enjoy a good territorial skirmish. Highlights include “View of Vespucci”, a 2,980 feet parachute down towards Vespucci beach (manoeuvring through palm trees and whatnot) and “Sundae Driving”, a motorbike race across the surface of Vespucci beach.

The Beach Bum DLC is the first of many planned content updates for GTA V and looks set to make some solid additions to the game.
