DICE and Electronic Arts have released this new trailer for upcoming DLC map pack “Second Assault”. If you’re the nostalgic type then this map pack is for you considering it repackages the maps Caspian Border, Operation Firestorm, Gulf of Oman and Operation Metro from previous Battlefield titles. It’s not a simple repackaging, mind you, because Battlefield 4’s signature and stupidly named “Levolution” tech has been added to each map.

The bad news is that EA and DICE have sold their souls to Microsoft, meaning this map pack is a timed exclusive on the Xbox One. It launches tomorrow, alongside the console, for all Battlefield Premium members who own an Xbox One. If you’re not a Premium member then you have to wait another two weeks. Not that any of this affects us here in South Africa considering there’s still no release date for the Xbox One.

For the rest of you peasants playing Battlefield 4 on PlayStation consoles, PC and Xbox 360, you’ll be able to pick up “Second Assault” sometime in December; no date has been specified. Flashy trailer with ridiculous voice-over after the jump.
