Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D caught using ME3 art

Are you watching ABC’s TV series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? I’ve been trying to get into it, but I kind of feel like my brain cells are dying during each episode. Now, however, I might carry on watching the show considering they’re stealing Mass Effect 3 artwork to superimpose into scenes.

A recent episode, entitled The Bridge, has an early scene in which you can see a building that might look familiar to serious Mass Effect fans. That’s because the building is actually straight out of a piece of Mass Effect 3 artwork of the Earth Alliance HQ. All ABC did was take the artwork, modify it slightly, and greenscreen it into the scene from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Mass Effect artwork originally made an appearance on a limited edition lithograph that was put up for sale online; you can see it over here.

Sadly for ABC, BioWare forum user fhweufhewiu spotted the familiar artwork and posted the rather awkward discovery for other forumites to scoff at. There’s been no comment from either Electronic Arts or ABC, but we’ll update this if either responds.
