Great news, Watch Dogs faithful: Ubisoft’s open world action game that was meant to launch alongside the new consoles, is coming out on 27 May 2014. This is a worldwide release date that’s just less than three months away. “We are extremely confident that the additional time we afforded the dev team to refine and polish the game will be more than worth the wait,” said Geoffroy Sardin, the senior vice president of sales and marketing for Ubisoft.

In addition to word of this release date, Ubisoft and Sony were eager to share the news that the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Watch Dogs will be getting exclusive content via the PlayStation Network. This content will bring with it an additional hour of extra gameplay.

Ubisoft has released a new story trailer for the game. You can find that after the jump.

Watch Dogs will be launching on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The Wii U release date is yet to be confirmed.
