Uncharted 4 game director leaves Naughty Dog

Hmm, there’s something up at Naughty Dog. A few weeks back the creative director and lead writer on Uncharted 4, Amy Hennig, left the company. Naughty Dog’s top-brass downplayed the departure. Now, however, a second high-profile departure is starting to create a bit of concern among fans. Justin Richmond, the game director, has also left Naughty Dog; he is taking up a position with Riot Games, the home of League of Legends.

“I have in fact made the decision to leave Naughty Dog. I love the company and the people and know that they will continue to create awesome games going forward,” Richmond said in a statement obtained by IGN. “On a happier note, after careful consideration and exploration I have joined Riot Games. There is some really innovative stuff going on here that I can’t wait to be a part of.”

Very little is known about Uncharted 4. The PlayStation 4 exclusive was revealed on the day the console launched in the USA. Aside from a teaser trailer, the project remains a mystery.
