Murdered: Soul Suspect devs quietly shut down

Airtight Games, the development team behind the very recent Murdered: Soul Suspect, has quietly shutdown their Redmond headquarters. Picked up by website Geekwire, the offices were quiet save for a handful of staff that were busy selling off office equipment, such as PCs, in a “blow out sale”.

Geekwire’s journalists also found a selection of E3 2013 media award badges and ribbons. Aside from whatever content was put up for sale, there wasn’t much else left in the office. For those who don’t know, certain media outlets will give “Game of the Show” or “Best Shooter Nomination” rosettes and badges to developers during events like E3 and Gamescom. It’s not unusual to see developer stands festooned with the items.

While Airtight Games has not responded to any requests for further information, the company’s Twitter account fired off two  Tweets less than 12 hours ago:

Murdered: Soul Suspect, which was released in June of this year, was published by Square Enix.
