With the first bit of story DLC hitting Destiny on 9 December called, “The Dark Below”, Bungie and Activision have committed themselves to not only keep producing content for the game, but to also begin work on the sequel to the open-world shooter. During an earnings call with Activision, Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said that “”work has also begun on future expansion packs, as well as on our next full game release.” Destiny is currently available only on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, requiring a subscription to both console’s multiplayer subscriptions to be able to enjoy the PvP modes where players can engage with one another in combat.
