In case you missed it over the weekend, Capcom held the Capcom Cup in which the first ever live Street Fighter V match was played out. The match was between Mike Ross and Peter Rosas, with commentary by James Chen and David Philip Graham. Neither of the commentators had actually seen the game as yet, so a lot of their comments doubled as first-time analyses of the game’s new mechanics.
A lot of it will look familiar to Street Fighter fans as Ryu and Chun-li duke it out over two matches. Fortunately there’s a proper, 30-minute long analysis by Joe Ciaramelli in which the tweaks and additions (some of which are pretty subtle) to Street Fighter V are discussed. You can check out both videos after the jump.
