A number of EU PlayStation Stores have updated with pre-orders for The Witcher 3. That means we’re getting to see bits of information, like the install size for the game, which is apparently 50GB.
While Sony and CD Projekt have yet to release formal space requirements for the game, the fact that a number of PlayStation Stores are showing the same information means that it’s likely true. It isn’t unusual for PlayStation 4 titles to hit install sizes that large; Killzone: Shadow Fall and The Last of Us Remastered both had installs that big.
There’s been nothing about the install size from camp Microsoft, so it’ll be interesting to see if there is a size discrepancy between the Xbox One version and the PlayStation 4 version. It’s already been confirmed that the PC will only require 40GB of storage space.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out on 19 May unless something goes horribly, horribly wrong and it ends up getting delayed for the third time. You can catch the latest gameplay segment right over here.
