At CES 2015, ASUS announced the MG279Q, a 27-inch 2560 x 1440 display with an AH-IPS panel rated at 2ms grey-to-grey response time that also supported an adaptive refresh range of 40Hz to 144Hz (originally it was 40-120Hz). While the display did support Displayport 1.2a+ or Adaptive Sync, it wasn’t branded as a FreeSync panel, possibly because it was still being certified by AMD. Well, that process is now over and we will soon have twelve FreeSync-compatible displays to choose from. Awesome!
