CG artist’s LinkedIn profile lists “Fallout 4 cinematic” as one of his contracts

LinkedIn is pretty much the Internet’s herpes: once you join the networking site, you can pretty much never get rid of it. Ever. At least the Internet’s herpes occasionally throws up interesting bits of speculative content, such as this news right here.

According to a CG artist’s LinkedIn profile, he worked as a contract 3D artist on a “Fallout 4 cinematic trailer” between December 2014 and March 2015. He was contracted to a Miranda Studios, which is a production company that was co-founded by Guillermo del Toro. This same artist has also done work on the cinematics for Far Cry 4, Forza Motorsports, The Elder Scrolls and The Avengers.

There is no reason for the profile’s content to be fake, and indeed LinkedIn profiles have outed numerous unannounced games.

At present, speculation is that Bethesda will show off Fallout 4 at E3 next month. The publisher has scheduled their own pre-event press conference which indicates that they have a substantial amount of content to show off. In the past, Bethesda has used E3 to unveil Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
