Cyanide Studio’s long-running cycling series will be returning in 2015 and promises to be the closest you can get to actually competing in the historic sporting event without sacrificing thousands of hours building up an immense amount of cardiovascular endurance. Tour de France 2015 (or Pro Cycling Manager 2015 for PC players) will allow players to ride through all of the stages on the 2015 tour route, including the iconic finale on the Champs-Élysées. It has never been easier to cycle through the rolling hills of Holland, across the cobbled streets of northern France, or up to the summit of the majestic Alps, so hit the jump to see more.
Tour de France 2015 gives you the chance to play as one of today’s most popular cyclists, issuing orders to teammates and managing your energy levels in an attempt to win the coveted yellow jersey. Players can attempt to build the ultimate cycling dream team in Pro Team mode by recruiting their favourite cyclists and can also compete cooperatively (or against) friends in a local multiplayer mode.
Sadly, the more refined management mode is only available in the PC version of the game. Here players can assume the role of the sports director of one of the professional cycling circuit’s 90 most competitive teams. This mode contains a massive 550 stage races from over 200 competitions (including the famous Critérium International and the Critérium du Dauphiné) and should be more than enough to satisfy the gaming needs of any cycling enthusiast. The PC version also offers an online multiplayer component.
