Uncharted trilogy confirmed for PS4

If you missed out on the Uncharted trilogy, or want to relive Nathan Drake’s adventures, soon you’ll be able to play them all on PS4. Following an unceremonious leak, Sony and Naughty Dog have officially announced Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Hit the jump for more.

The Nathan Drake Collection will bundle Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves, and Drake’s Deception all into one package with updated 1080p visuals, 60fps, new Trophies, and several other changes to lighting and textures. There’s also a Photo Mode promised, so you can pose Drake and apply all the Instagram filters you like. It also clearly states on the box art that these are the single-player campaigns only, so keep that in mind if you were itching to join multiplayer lobbies. I should mention that it’s in the capable hands of Bluepoint Games, the team behind the excellent remasters of Metal Gear Solid, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and God of War.

Speaking of multiplayer, The Nathan Drake Collection will give buyers access to the multiplayer beta for the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Pre-orders have already started, and the game is set to launch October 9th, 2015. There’s no gameplay (the trailer below is all live-action) although Sony has promised to show off more in the coming months.

In the meantime, let’s all place bets on what franchise PlayStation will remaster next. Infamous maybe?
