CD Projekt has revealed that the final piece of free DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be a New Game+ mode. The team made the announcement over on the official Facebook page. Heading over there you’ll find that information is a little scant at present. That’s because they’re still finishing up the DLC.
“New Game+, the final DLC, is on the way and, of course, it’s completely FREE!” the post reads. “Stay tuned for more info regarding the release. It won’t happen this week though – we need a little bit more time to finish it.”
Since the game’s launch in May of this year, CD Projekt has kept a steady stream of free DLC trickling into players’ games. The addition of a New Game+ mode is a fitting way to end off the free DLC offerings. Up next, the team will move on to continue development of the Expansion Packs planned for the game. The first expansion, “Heart of Stone” is due in October this year, with the second, “Blood and Wine”, due in early 2016.
