Gamescom 2015: Unravel continues to charm and amaze my socks off

EA and Coldwood Interactive debuted Unravel at E3 in June. The puzzle-platformer instantly struck a chord with many people: its cute character, gorgeous visuals, and clever yarn-based mechanics certainly made it stand out from the crowd of AAA pewpew titles that ordinarily consume E3 headlines.

Coldwood has now released a new, narrated gameplay trailer for Unravel, and yes it’s still looking as whimsical and charming as it did two months ago. In the trailer you’ll see how physics lies at the heart of the game’s puzzle-platforming challenges, as Yarny has to navigate a coastal area while avoiding being washed away by waves.

Unravel is set for a Q1 2016 release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the newest Gamescom trailer after the jump.
