Sony reveals PS Plus free games for September

Who doesn’t like free stuff? Even when said free stuff actually costs a monthly fee, I think we can all agree that free stuff is pretty rad. And PS Plus subscribers’ monthly dosage of free stuff has now been revealed.

The headline act is Ubisoft’s Grow Home for PS4, a platformer about a robot growing a massive plant to oxygenate his homeworld. This title is significant because it was voted for by PS Plus subscribers via a program called Vote to Play to be one of the monthly free games. The runners-up, Armello and Zombie Vikings, will be available at a discounted price.

Moving along, other titles include Super Time Force Ultra (PS4, PS Vita), Xeodrifter (PS4, PS Vita), Teslagrad (PS4, PS3), Twisted Metal (PS3), and La-Mulana EX (PS Vita).

All in all, this month’s offerings seem quite platformer-centric (with the obvious exception of Twisted Metal), and it’ll be interesting to see when the Vote to Play campaign returns next. Check out the video below to see the titles in action.
